[geeks] Old hardware cut-off

Well, I opened the box - it's a Sun V65x (
http://www.tcl.de/tcl/download/sun_pdf/datasheetsun_fireV65x_Server.pdf )
dual processor, 2x 1 Gig RAM, one 72 Gig SCSI HD, one CD drive and one
floppy, along with 5 empty 1" drive trays (bought separately over 5 years
ago, based on the eBay receipt in the box).

I haven't powered it up yet, I need to shuffle some bits around to make
room.

I expect the CR2032 coin battery is dead, I have a replacement cell at the
ready, but I want to power it on first.

It has SIX PCI-X slots, dual NICs, and redundant power.

I don't know (yet) if CPU is 2.8 or 3.2 GHz Xeon.

It's really nice and shiny.

I seem to recall I could swap RAM from a Dell PE2650 into this box, I have
a nice PE2650 that ad lots of RAM, the V65x takes up to 12 Gig RAM, but the
cost of going above 6 Gigs (6x 1 Gig) looks stupid expensive...

I'll have another update after I power it up.

Lionel
