Costco has the Panasonic KX-TG385, with base station, 4 or 5 handsets, etc. for $129.99.  It ties to your cell phone via BlueTooth and notifies you of SMS messages also.

Might be a better deal, if you want an integrated solution, or don't already have some nice telephones to use.

That is something feasible.  I didn't know Sprint had one of these--Verizon
has saturated our area with their Home Connect.  The beauty of an actual
cell phone is that it can be easily taken on trips (and in February 2014,
we are out of contract and can use a "hand me down").  Another plus is that
we are thinking of moving and these devices don't care where you
are--unlike the phone or cable company.  Thanks
