IIRC: IPCs have built in 10BaseT and a Sun special 10Base5 connector.
They autoswitch between the two, but this sometimes doesn't work. Once
I had to boot a SS20 via an external 10Base5 transceiver because of
this. There may be a boot-prom environement variable to force 10BaseT
or 10Base5. So you may need to fight with "printenv" / "setenv".
