Use a short RJ45 extension cable. Plug the special cable into the
extension cable, fixate it with shrinkwrap or the like and never remove
it. So you will plug only the extension cable. If it weres out or the
clip breaks, mount the next extension cable. This reduces plug-umplug
cycles of the special cable by a big amount.
