[geeks] IDE drive problem on U5

something else to poke around further a bit: with the solaris
installers, when you get to the first question you can open a terminal
window and play with format at that point.

i vaguely recall an issue with labeling drives before the installer
could partition/newfs them, but i wouldn't expect this from drives
already presumably in service.  likewise, others have mentioned the
disk size issue, but format can't autodetect full capacity beyond
something absurdly small; you have to hand enter c/h/s values, but
again on drives already in service...
