Just to confirm/expand on above answer, 120 Gig is 'practical' limit  
on IDE controller, absolute limit is 137 Gig (IIRC ;^). what is  
important to note is that a 160 Gig HD can be used, but you can only  
access up to 137 Gig on the drive (wastes space, but handy if that's  
the smallest drive you have on hand).

SCSI is an improvement, but you are limited to PCI bus speed, which  
puts a limit on speed, not storage capacity.

As noted by someone else, an ultra 2, ultra 30 or ultra 60 is an order  
of magnitude faster than any U5/10, and a chassis should be pretty  
easily available if you really look around. These systems share common  
memory, drives, and CPUs, the ultra 30/60 are PCI-based, the ultra 2  
is SBUS-based.
