[geeks] DIY project, maybe? (Cheapo bedroom air purifier)

Patrick asked, "Anyone ever done something like this?"

   Not exactly, but I visited a very-DIY bike shop in Providence on
Friday. The two handy lads there had built a painting room out of one
spare aluminum storm door and a truckload of disposable filters.

   *shrug* Not precisly what you explained, but they must have made a
frame to hold the filters and then a means for sucking air in the
filters and throwing it out another (paint-catching) filter. All you'd
need to do is scale it down.
