Eight or so years ago, I completely screwed up a debian installation 
because of that keyboard layout.  Because of the changed layout of page 
up/down/home/end/insert/delete i somehow removed a large amount of the 
system in dselect.  I didn't really know what i had done, and by the 
time i realized what happened, it was too late.  At that point it was 
easier to start over than fix it.
