What happened (as I understood it) was that Dennis had registered
genunix.org personally, and it got "lumped in" with all the BlastWave stuff
when he transferred it (or whatever exactly happened).  

Al Hopper and the rest registered genunix2.org as a stop-gap until they got
in touch with Dennis and got the DNS pointers for genunix.org back to the
right IP addresses, since lots of stuff at opensolaris.org was pointing to
genunix.org URLs.

As I've mentioned, Dennis is no stranger to actual or threatened lawsuits
from what I've seen.  I'm surprised it took this long.
