Again, the details aren't final. But if they allow a non-VZ phone, how
could they cripple it?

BTW - I don't know if anyone's explored phone hacking, but depending on
model it's often possible to remove or bypass cripling. I know it's
nicer to just insert mp3's and make them ringtones, but it can be done
with a db mod using free hackerware.
