Since there seems to be a lot of interest and discussion about the
D201GLY2 (small cheap Intel celeron board not actually available yet)
and the PCChips V21G board (available, but PCChips might not be such a
hot brand), I thought I'd mention a new board I just found.

$59.99. They are calling it the gOs development kit. This board is at
the heart of the $200 PCs from Walmart (the ones with DVD burners
standard running a modified Ubuntu). I think the board is made by
Everex.
This board has the somewhat impressive C7 processor, that Jonathan
reports can do 6.4Gb/S of AES encryption. It has onboard SATA and IDE.
Unlike most boards of this size, it has two DIMM sockets and two PCI
slots.
Alas, it doesn't have GigE. Still it's not like that is hard to add by
PCI if you need it.
I bet it would make a nice storage appliance with a CF card and two SATA
drives.
