I had this exact scenario with one of their techs. Then the girl started
insisting that I reformat the machine and put Windows on it.

Of course, starting to get a bit mad I asked for a supervisor and was told
"there wasn't one."

I finally got her to send me to the Mac side where the tech was a bit more
helpful. After a couple of hours of troubleshooting, him telling me what
info he was looking for on the Mac side and me giving the equivalent he
finally says "Oh, there's an outage in your area!"

Yes, I know. I've only been trying to tell you that for four hours!
