I just compiled PostgreSQL v8.0.1 on a dual Opteron box running Solaris 10: "time gmake -j 4" gave me: real 1m18.654s user 1m58.835s sys 0m12.007s quite zippy... I am going to be beating on the container code on this system, so far it looks good. --Patrick
