You'll get a kick out of this.

Amy looks over at me around 7pm last night. "I want the Tennis Channel,
and DirecTV isn't ever going to carry it. Call Time Warner and sign up."

I said "Okay, I'll call them on Monday."

She said "No, call them RIGHT NOW and sign up. I dont care how much
it costs a month, I want the Tennis Channel."

I said "You want to get cable, JUST for the Tennis Channel?"

her: "Yep. Now, get on the phone to time warner."

me: "Yes'm".

So, I called and setup an appointment for Tuesday for them to come out
and install the cable and DVR. When I told the guy that we already had
DTV and were only getting TW cable for the Tennis Channel, he cracked up.

After that was done, I noticed Amy looking at big TVs on her computer.

Her: "Let's go to Conn's... and just 'look'..."

I knew what that meant. A couple hours later, we came home with the
plasma in the back of the truck. 8-) We were planning on getting one
anyway in the next 2-3 months, so we jumped on this good price when we
saw it...

Tomorrow night I get to drill another cable-routing hole in the "entertainment
center" that we've got, and rearrange some things. I've already run another
AV cable so all the TW guy has to do is get his cable into the house, plug
in the DVR, and plug it into the cable already coming out of the back of the
TV...

Then I get to see if the TW DVR is hackable/networkable at all...
