Based on my brief read of the documentation, it seems OK for
most uses, as you have to create user accounts for every user,
same as if you gave a friend dial-in access to a machine on your internal
network...

For Profit motives, maybe an issue, but as a way to take control of your WiFi
in a crowded area, why not?

The idea is that you only create user ids for your own family/friends, and
everyone else is blocked from network access, though they may get "physical"
access to your WiFi hot point... Also, notice that "SuperUser" profiles have
bandwith priority, and public users still need pre-existing logins. This is
not a wide-open portal...

The original question was about protecting home network from WiFi users nearby
- this seems like a neat way to accomplish that goal.
