Kucinich talks a good talk, but from what I've heard, he's a raving
tinfoil-hat socialist when you get past the election-year public talk.

People, en masse, need to internalize the idea that ALL THE CANDIDATES
OFFERED TO US BY THE BIG GOVERNMENT PARTY ARE BAD. There are no good
Republican candidates, and there are no good Democrat candidates. They
ALL serve first and foremost the political machine and its financial
backers, and they ALL have as their primary agenda increasing their own
personal power and the power of government at our expense.

Dave Barry commented some years ago that America has two political
parties, the evil party and the stupid party, and that the only problem
was keeping track of which was which. The point he missed was that the
reason it's hard to keep track of which is which is because they're
really two opposite wings of the same party that swap hats on a regular
basis. They're rivals in name only.

Freedoms are not going to start being significantly restored in this
country until we throw both the Democans and the Republicrats out on
their lard-padded asses. We could turn this thing around this year if
everyone who says they want more freedoms and lower taxes would put
their ballot where their mouth is and vote Libertarian. Sure, some of
the Libs are a bit on the kooky side, particularly in CA, but their
hearts are in the right place -- and frankly, even the slightly-kooky
ones are better overall than what we've got right now.

Yeah, yeah, I know, "no third-party candidate stands a chance." Nor
will they ever, as long as nobody votes for them because no third-party
candidate stands a chance. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Way to win
an election -- just convince all the voters your opponent cannot
possibly win. You can tell me that a Libertarian vote is a wasted vote,
but I'll tell you in return that a Rebublican or Democrat vote is a vote
for continuing the status quo exactly as it is, and continuing to watch
it get worse and worse every year. Which would you rather do -- waste
your vote, or continue to contribute to the problem?
