However, on my belt, I carry a Leatherman SuperTool, an leather pouch
containing a pair of lineman's snips and an electrician's knife, a
5-LED flashlight, a cell phone (Nextel/Motorola i90c), and a two-way
pager (Motorola Talkabout or some such).

Me, too, but there's something liberating about walking around without
any of that stuff.  If I leave off the boots, I probably save a good
8lbs, in total.
