[geeks] USB > DB9 converter recomendation

I have actually been looking for the same thing. Have some questions, 
though.

There seem to be two DB9 adapters, a "PDA adapter" and a "Serial 
adapter". Are they the same? When you plug one in, do you get a regular 
unix device entry you can use with tip, cu, kermit, etc.?
