It's not so bad from an Ops point of view - doesn't trash the box or 
stomp on the OS.  The systems we have it installed on (a pair of V480s) 
are overkill for the level of activity we've put Ariba to so far, so 
that may have something to do with it.

But I manage some of the application bits as well.  Most complaints I 
can toss back to Ariba; it's obvious the thing was designed to meet the 
obligations of the Consultant Employment Act of 1993.  Ariba give you 
the app - anything that would make it useable (oh, say, directory 
services integration, my biggest nit) you get to code yourself.  Using 
_their_ API.  Bleh.
