And what genocides did they commit then ? I'm quite prepared to believe
we've done many things that could be regarded as 'crimes against
humanity' (I could list quite a few things myself), but I don't recall
anything that could qualify as genocide ... and I've probably read a
great deal more British history than you have.

The closest thing I can think of was the Irish Potatoe Famine, but that
was a natural disaster combined with gross negligence ... hardly
proactive genocide.
