Some of us rednecks actually enjoy watching roadracing.  I love
watching the Australian Super Touring series when I can, though time
available for watching it is limited as of late.  And WRC events...how
can you *not* love watching that.  Paris to Dakar?  Wonderful stuff.

I think it has more to do with being "macho" than anything else, and you
don't require a red neck to do that.  I'm sure a psychoanalyst would
have fun with that particular cultural bit.
