Alabama has a similar law except directly pertaining to interstate travel;
if the town is 19,000 or less, they cannot enforce interstate speed
limits. If they are above, they can.

You don't usually see State Troopers on the way into Montgomery -- only on
the way out. The Legislature is exempt from speeding tickets en route to
legistlative session.
