Okay, I could understand the concern of neighbors.  However, he sure didn't
have to give up his *actual* weapon to the police.  It would be a cold day
on the surface of the sun before I ever gave up my kit to someone else for
"safe keeping" without having been arrested.  Just another example of the
sheep doing what they're told...
