I just wanted to let everyone know tha the E250 makes a great home
server, since:

- Dual 300 MHz CPUs is more than enough for home use
- 16 Memory slots means never running out of RAM ;^)
- the 6 HD slots are hot-swapable 8^)
- the remote console option allows me to avoid solving my VT-420s
random problems (I suspect the cable is bad/questionable) I'm gonna use
a U-1/170e as a console instead
- It runs very quietly (for a big MoFo server)
- And from the seller I got mine from, it was a great deal (<$600 w/6x
18 Gig HDs, 2x 300 MHz CPUs, and 4x 128 Meg DIMMs)

As a learning box, this thing has all the bells and whistles, witha
small price tag (relative to other, bigger hardware)...

Of course, an E450 would be better, but the price is a bit higher
too...
