I'm not sure I follow the above.  Sharpness is one of the FIRST things
one should demand from any knife.  A dull knife is worse than not having
a knife at all, because if you carry a dull knife, then you're under the
delusion that you have a useful tool.

Unless, of course, the two sentences above were unrelated.
