Now that sort of level of recoil is just more than I want to shoot in a
pistol.  If I'm going to shoot something that kicks as hard as a .454
Casull (or god help us, a .478 Linebaugh), I want to shoot it in a
rifle.  A .44 Magnum is about the most I can shoot in a pistol and get
back on target in a reasonable time.
