DD'ing IRIX Disks (was Re: [geeks] Apple vs. Sun)

It does work very well for most things, and is easily installable from
freeware.sgi.com, though I took the time to use the gcc3.1 sgi provides
to build gcc3.2 from source.  The only problem I ran into is that xmame
wouldn't compile with gcc (ld would segfault), but it does compile fine
with MIPSPro.
