I don't even want to think about that.  The engines would have to be timing locked, which would not allow for different front rear speeds, so it would drive like a 4 wheel drive (as opposed to an all wheel drive) and the assumption is it was meant to go fast, I wouldn't dare turn a corner in that kind of arrangement, it would be undriveable. The linking of two transmissions/clutches/torque converters would be a bit iffy also, I have a feeling that kind of thing would tear itself apart under heavy throttle, after all you wouldn't do it with mild motors, so we are talking well in excess of a thousand horsepower and who knows how much torque.  I am still toying with the idea of a two motor electric all wheel drive fiero, but the same hassles apply, and that wouldn't even have transmissions.
