Negative -- those ratios I quoted were for the rear-end, not the tranny.
My main reason for swapping to the 'vette T56 is because gear #6 is 1:2.
That, plus a low gear ratio in the rear-end, should add up to low RPM at
highway speeds. Low RPM, less gas burned.
