Systems normal for me.  If I'm not interested, or have a vested interest, I
stop listening and paying attention *immediately*.  I don't know that I'm at
all ADD though, at least I was never diagnosed as such.  I was, however,
diagnosed as "hyperactive" - which I agree with...
