Yup.  No sympathy here either for the dumb shits who CHOOSE to live below
the levees on either side of their tidal river which can rise by several
feet when there's heavy rain.  After being flooded out two years running
when there was heavy rain and a spring tide, they now wonder why they
can't get insurance.  Actually, half the bloody town can't get insurance.
Makes you wonder why the old bit of town is built on a hill :-)

What they have now is "Lewes Flood Action", a group of whiners who seem to
spend all their time demanding that insurers insure the uninsurable and
demanding that central and local government spend vast sums of money on
flood defences of dubious value to protect their poorly sited homes.
