It sucks.  I had cake and ice cream the other night at a birthday party, and
was completely non-functional for the entire next 24 hours - until I got about
8 hours of sleep and my endocrine system had a chance to 'normalize'.

It has gotten worse as I get older.  Used to be that I could eat all kinds of
sugary crap - or maybe that was the cause...
