Did you install scsi kernel support or modules?
Did you build the symlink between /dev/cdrom and /dev/sda? (using the scsi
LUN) of the cdrom? Remember that scsi disks show up as sda1, etc.

~ heard sound come from it telling me that the sound card worked in the
