BINGO!  Dunno about Sir Speedy, but the folk at Kinkos know what they know
and they don't know no more.  And they won't experiment.

My sales guy had a huge job to print, and wanted it burned onto CD (why he
couldn't do it is another matter) so he could hand carry it to Kinkos.  This
offended my sense of rightness, so I called up and asked if they could
download a file (via FTP/HTTP) download from our server (all web based, not
jiggery pokery involved - we xfer hundreds of files per week between dozens
of clients this way).

I explained this, in exactly the same language we use with sales drones and
engineers.  "Can't download stuff from the internet, the perspective could
be off".  Re-explained in Kindergarten English. "Nope, can't download stuff
...".  I gave up, let 'em do it the hard way.
