This is with my "Bowazon" that I'm stuck on Hephasto, my problem is that I
made it too far too fast and I can't find a better bow. If I could get a bit
better damage on him I could do it....

Skip hephasto.  he's just not worth it.  I have a very hard time killing
him even with a absurdly overpowered char.  What class?  I've got an
amazon and a sorc.
