Yes, but even a 486 runs emacs decently.

It's not like emacs gets in the way, at least for me.  Well, I take that
back.  It always grills me to find out if I want to save the scratch
buffer if I was using it for anything.  I wish I could figure out how to
turn that off.  There has to be an easy way to do it.

I have 2 icons that don't provide usefull information.  One is the stupid
WindowMaker logo.  The other is the WindowMaker clip.  I have the clip up
because if I don't there is an icon on my desktop for every damn program
running.

The other three icons are a load monitor, xmms, and a clock/date program.

I do use title bars, I have to admit.
