[geeks] APC MasterSwitch plus

If there is only one way to hook up the battery to the MasterSwitch, might it want the 120V (or 220V) output from the UPS to be there?

Just a quick thought...

i've got an APC MasterSwitch plus with no UPS hooked up to it, so when i power
it on, it sits there with the green light blinkin (UPS sleeping) and that's
all it does.  does anyone know how to outsmart this thing and get it to start
up even without a UPS hooked up to it?  i can't seem to figure it out (the
manual is, well, less than useful)
