I've always been a huge fan of ALan Cole and Chris Bunch's Sten series. One
is an ex Special Forces soldier, and the other is an ex marine, so these
guys really know what they are talking about.

Also the Officer series (Officer cadet, Lieutenant, captain, major, etc...
etc...)

I've always been a big fan of Keith Laumer's "Bolo" series of
books, and I just started the Hammer's Slammers collections by
David Drake.  Anybody else recommend something similar?
