[geeks] Breeding

Well, I'm not in the "calling it breeding" camp (yet), but I was amazed last night - I went to see an R rated film ("Along Came A Spider") and there was a young couple with a 4 yr. old in the audience.

The film was from 7 - 9pm, so that wasn't too bad, but there was a bit of killing/swearing/shooting in the movie...

It is amazing to me that the parents saw nothing wrong with it (and I quote "Hey, we bought our tickets, no problem"). I have seen this same theater pull folks with kids out of late (9:30pm showtime) R-rated movies, and one time they had to call the police (the mom was *very* beligerent, so the manager choose not to refund her money).

She didn't understand why folks had a problem with her two 5-7 year olds running up and down the steps inthe theater...

Amazing...

Ken

Amy,

I'm glad to see that there are other straight folks out
there who refer to having children as 'breeding'. :->
When Andrea thinks about pregnancy, she can't help but
think of it as some kind of parasite a la 'Aliens'.

Best contraceptive I ever found is an afternoon dealing
with other people's poorly behaved children, which these
days seems to be most peoples children.

2 cats and a beagle is all the kids we want.
