I am seriously considering dropping my second phone line and getting one of the Linksys "uber" router appliances - 802.11b, Cable/DSL router/4 port switch, DHCP server, and VoIP gateway via Net2Phone.

In theory, I should be able to plug the second line of my Siemens phone system into the RJ-11 on the Linksys router and have VoIP long distance calls by simply choosing L2 from my handset...

Sweet.

I've got one of those Siemens phones as well. The only things that I've
found annoying about it so far are the slimness (it slides off my
shoulder when I'm trying to do things), and that when I plug in my
second DSL line, the phone thinks it's off the hook, no matter what
filters I put in place. I hate having a 864k SDSL line that I can't use
consistently.
