I think of this product as a remote office server console extension cord. I.e. place one on *the* server at the branch office, and you can control the server from anywhere - no more "what do you see when you type..." calls!).

More is always better, I agree, but this is sufficently cool IMHO.

If this unit had 8, 16 or better yet 32 serial ports it would be
terrific.  However as a single system only, it's not so hot.
