Hello Mark,

If you want the latest Solaris 10, which you correctly identified in a later email as Solaris 10u11, you can download that directly
from Oracle.

I forget the exact/correct URL, but I usually just type this in, and I get redirected to the correct space.

<http://www.oracle.com/solaris>

If you don't already have an Oracle account, you will need to create one. There is no charge to create an account for yourself.

This will get you Solaris 10u11. In a completely unrelated note that may (or may not) be relevant, Solaris 11.3 and Solaris 11.4
beta are available for download.

Compatibility. You didn't include any details regarding your system, aside from upgrading/adding SCSI disks, but for this, I'm
specifically looking at RAM. Assuming that you meet memory requirements, I would expect that, in addition to the current Solaris
10, you should also be able to install Solaris 11 Express, with emphasis on the Express part, but specifically not, Solaris 11.0 GA
or later.

It appears that others have already made offers of older versions of the OS if that is the direction you need/want to go. One final
alternative, although there is a strong x86/x86 bias, are the open source Solaris based distro's.

Hope that there is something in here that helps,

Jerry
