looking at last section of 
http://dlc.sun.com/pdf/816-1330-11/816-1330-11.pdf , maybe via eeprom, 
create a devalias for /devices/upa at 8,480000/SUNW,gfb at 0,0:gfb0 and set 
output-device=<device_alias> ?
