[SunHELP] RSM 214 sparc storage array on sparcstation 4/5

MUCH thanx - I shall get one.
I have 4 (just counted them) of the RSM214 arrays myself.
2 of them are not being used since they only have 4gb drives.
I wonder if the firmware would allow me to  put in 18gb JBOD drives?

And by the way, the A3500 did not use RSM214s, it used D1000 arrays.
I also have a D1000.  THAT is a handy array.  It also requires
Differential
SCSI to connect it, but you CAN daisy chain the D1000s.

It's been a while for me, so I may be mis-remembering.

The one I got was $7 from from PBfixit.com, it's a longer thinner tool
they call a "spudger".  There are other shorter ones with a thicker
"head" that generally come with the iPod battery replacement kits, and
with some cell phone repair kits (usually they are light blue in
color).  I haven't used the latter type, but I find the spudger very
versatile, and consider it one of the best tools I've bought.

It's great for working on PDA's, laptops, etc.
