[SunHELP] Authentication with SunScreen 3.2

Hello,

I am only beginning to leart SunScreen, so this question may seem 
stupid. Anyway, SunScreen is able to do user authentication. After 
reading the "SunScreen Administrator's Overview" and "SunScreen 
Administrator's Guide' I still cannot figure out how the authentication 
occurs from the client point of view (for example, let's take a Windows 
client). Are the clients authenticating on a proxy or on the firewall? 
Or am I mixing things up?

Please help! If I need to read or re-read some docs, please give me a hint.
