[SunHELP] adding a "virtual_package"

I've done my first core install of Solaris 8.  Up to this point I've always
done "Entire plus OEM".

I'm now trying to add things like man pages.  I see that SUNWman is in a
.virtual_packages directory.  I'm unable to install this package.

# pkgadd -d . SUNWman
pkgadd: ERROR: no packages were found in
</mnt/cdrom/Solaris_8/Product/.virtual_packages>

What's the trick?
