You need to run Solaris 8 or newer, and make sure you've got the latest
OpenBoot code installed.  Go to sunsolve.sun.com and search for "Ultra 10 FLASH PROM".

I've used an 80G drive in an Ultra 5 with no problems running Solaris 9.
