Hi

I am running sendmail-8.12.11 + Cyrus SASL -2 on Solaris-8 Now sendmail is
working fine.
Everything is wokring fine except, when i check for telnet localhost 25 it
doesnt ask for SMTP Authentication.I just get this -
# telnet localhost 25
Trying ::1...
telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.

I am unable to activate SMTP Authentication.I tried creating users with
saslpasswd2
#pwd
/usr/local/sbin
# ./saslpasswd2 -a Sendmail -u mail.estelcom.com test
Password:
Again (for verification):

#/sasldblistusers2
listusers failed
Neither it has created /etc/sasldb2.

I am getting the ERROR in /var/adm/messages:
saslpasswd2: [ID 702911 auth.error] could not find auxprop plugin, was
searching for [all]

also my /usr/lib/sasl2/Sendmail.conf looks like this
pwcheck_method:auxprop

Can anyone help me with this.
Thanks Charu
