Hi All
We have a strange problem. We have solaris 8 with VXFS 3.5. Our file system
has grown to 1TB. Since then we are not able to use it and are getting
consistant errors like "Filesystem inode xxx marked bad". Should VXFS 3.5 be
enough, or do they additionally need to upgrade to Solaris 9 version 08/3?
Plain Solaris 2.7-9 can only do 1TB, patches for Solaris 9 available for
crossing 1TB limit. But VXFS 3.5 can cross 1TB limit. But we are not able to
understand the problem.
Is some solaris patch which can solve the problem ???? Or we have have to
upgrader to Solaris 9 OS 08/3.
Can anyone tell some immediate solution to this.

Thanks
Vikas
