OK. I got the system upgraded by commenting out the non-OS file systems in
/etc/vfstab.

Unfortunately now I've got a running Solaris 9 system that does not see the
data on my A1000 raid array.

Yes, I did edit my /etc/vfstab again.

Subject: [SunHELP] Solaris 9 upgrade failing

I'm attempting to do a Solaris 7 to Solaris 9 upgrade. It's failing with
the following error:

ERROR: Mount failed for either root, swap, or other file system.

The line above it says:

Checking c0t0d0s0 for an updradable Solaris image

That is where root would be when the system is running under Solaris 7.
Right now it's mounted at /a for some reason (part of the normal upgrade
I'm assuming).

I'm assuming that the CD is mounted as the root file system.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.
